Similar to phase one, phase two of The City development comprises 11 two bedroom apartments, designed by local architects, David Murray Associates. Offering maximised space and light, with quality fixtures and fittings, prices start from £129,000.

The hospital, which was designed by local architect William Smith in 1874, is being transformed by Premier Burrell Ltd, a partnership between commercial developers, Premier Property Group, and urban regeneration specialist, The Burrell Company. An important listed building, which stands as a major landmark in the Granite City, The City hospital boasts an impressive clock tower in the centre of the former administration building with granite, decorative urns on either side and a green fish scale slate roof.
